Discover the New Imperfectio Sofa by Boca do Lobo

Maison et Objet Paris brought us last week some the best design creations and concepts, through a wide range of luxury furniture and exclusive design. One of the most iconic pieces Boca do Lobo presented was Imperfectio Sofa.

Imperfectio Sofa is the expression of imperfect aesthetic, the appeal of that which is authentic art that is truer to life. Imperfectio Sofa praises artisanal work as the ultimate form of art that is quite intentionally imperfect.

Through its unique existence and shapes Imperfectio Sofa determines its own history. The irregularities and flaws over the manual hammered brass exposes the beauty of imperfection.

Some parts are roughly asymmetrical at the surface yet comfortable and smooth in a peculiar way to excite a desire for complementing your living room.

Marco Costa and Alexandre Calvário, the designers in charge of the creative process, also talks about the this new design set, and explain: “Boca do Lobo has been exploring the concept of modification and how things can be transformed and changed, and that was the inspirational motto for Imperfectio.

This design set is an anthem to all the techniques we´ve exploring over the years, but also a new approach in terms of materials, techniques and textures.
