Hollywood celebrity Cameron Diaz is selling her luxurious Manhattan apartment and asked the interior designer Kelly Wearstler to decorate her new dream house. The 2 bedroom flat, located in Greenwich Village and overlooking a tree-lined block, has been Diaz’s residence since 2008. The actress purchased the bad for $2.95 million, and had fellow celebrity interior designer Kelly Wearstler champion the interior design project.
Kelly Wearstler transformed the space into a luxurious oasis, complete with an outstanding fireplace and custom wallpaper lining the closet. Diaz was very hands-on with the project, while Kelly Wearstler took all the shots.
Rumors say that Cameron Diaz and her rocker husband are about to a family, with plans to do it in New York City. Cameron Diaz has a second Manhattan apartment in the family-friendly Chelsea neighborhood.
The happy couple could be planning to make this three-bedroom abode their full time residence as they look to expand their family, or maybe Diaz will pull a Tom Cruise and begin selling off her glamorous homes one by one. Either way, we’ll be on baby bump watch.
The results of Kelly Wearstler work were phenomenal, with the flat’s interiors finished with bright colors and metallic details, furnished with an assortment of vintage and bespoke pieces, in a quintessential Wearstler style. All furniture pieces are included in the 1,4000 sq ft. condo, which is currently for sale for $4.25 million.
