Le Nouvel Ardmore was conceptualized by providing and mixing the vibrant energy of the tropical climate and vegetation with the surrounding greenery, while closely considering the architecture of the development. Jean Nouvel’s approach to architecture for each and every project he undertakes is unique, original and one-of-a-kind.
“The owner wanted the apartment to emulate the light blue and grey colors of the fall evening sky when the light is less intense,’ says Bobby Cheng, the founder and lead architect of the Singapore-based.
To ensure there would be no contrast or visual break between the living spaces and the sky, Cheng chose for the apartment in untreated Arctic grey granite and Prussian grey marble floor. A unique modern furniture was as well selected for the project with a calm cool palette
The modern living and dining rooms design try to blend with the peaceful surrounds and bring the views of the sky. “On certain evenings during the dusk light, the greyish blue sky is literally an extension of the balcony surfaces, with the edges of the building completely masked.”
