The top interior designer brought his signature style of refinement and sophistication into this holiday retreat of a Paris art dealer in the spectacular hillside of Corsica with a view overlooking the coast of the island. Creating a dialogue between art, design, and nature bringing tones and materials from the Corsican landscape into the interior of the house.
The house and pool enjoy the silence and privacy, with distant views of passing yachts and fishing boats. The holiday spirit is reflected in kind of rustic and vintage design furniture but the refinement of fabrics exhale softness and sophistication. The natural color palette inspiration comes from the rocky hillsides and natural vegetation of the region.
The main room is designed with two distinct areas: the dining-kitchen part, treated in frescoes of blue gradations, reminiscing the sea, and the living room that expresses the nature.
Paintings, sculpture, and photography are key elements that you’ll find throughout the house, reflecting the owner personal style.
The terrace and the house becomes one with the landscape and the Sea where family and friends can gather for drinks. A harmony between sea and mountain inherit to the Corsica lifestyle.
