Today we bring some Home Office design ideas through the The New Work Project in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NY.
In creating this inspiring environment the designers turned to an eclectic mix of iconic items, to custom furniture designed by The New Design Project, as well as items that are the result of creative collaborations with other local Brooklyn designers.
The entrance greets those who enter with the name of the members-only workspace understatedly printed upon the black lacquered wall behind the white-marble concierge desk. This opens into the lounge area where guests and creatives are welcomed inside by a no-nonsense take on old-fashion love seats – these in dusky gray tones – placed opposite wicker-backed chairs.
Gallery desks are visible through the sliding glass doors as are three black and white phone booths which offer their occupants privacy. Soft sconce and pendant lighting intermix with necessary-for-working-lights, making it more than a mere workspace but rather, a comfortable place to be.
The result is a friendly, welcoming environment that is rich in textures and layers; providing a space to suit every member’s creative needs.
With Brooklyn currently being one of the world’s most inspiring and prolific locations, The New Works Project offers those seeking to harness their visions with a very “interesting place to live, work and play,” within it.
