Zaha Hadid Architects recently embarked on a project in Moscow’s merging Yuzhnoportovy district. The building, which serves as an office for Dominion, has an incredible interior layout, which sees a very structured division of spaces for different purposes.
Indeed, Zaha Hadid is the queen of contemporary iconic architecture. Her buildings are unique and her aesthetic unmistakable. Hadid is the world’s most famous woman in the architecture field strangely dominated by masculine figures.
The outdoors of the building scream Zaha´s aesthetic, since her lines are very contemporary and unique.
One of building’s most iconic spots is the lobby, where it’s staircases are displayed interconnecting between each of the floors and divions.
The staircases create an outstanding visual effect, mixing black and white and different shapes. This combination creates a ceiling effect that reveals the best of Zaha´s work.
The combination between black and white creases a modern maze effect.
The entire lobby is kept in a monochromatic black and white, where the floor panels reference the inspiration in which the world renown architect drew inspiration from. The building’s ceiling is kept transparent to maximize the natural light within it’s interior.
All offices are arranged within a system of linear bays, which are all interconnected, encouraging a more pro-active and team oriented work ethos.
