Violán attempted to maintain the building’s past through a unique blend of modern-day components and designer furniture and elements, all intensified with plenty of natural light.
Lázaro Rosa Violán whose complete renovation of this period property honors Istanbul’s metropolitan history by clutching painted ceilings, tile floors, and exposed brickwork but brings it heavily into today with a mix of mid-Century decorations, strategically-placed mirrors, lovingly-crafted doors and ultra-contemporary furnishings.
