The well-known German photographer Florian W.Mueller always recognized modern architecture as a variety of sculpture, a totally different art whose influence varies according to the times.
According to Mueller, all those historic building techniques are artworks of their own. Hence, in this image series titled ‘Singularity”, he strives to discover the precise angle and mix it with the style and character of the modern architecture through his individual panorama. In other words, Florian W.Mueller has ‘reduced the architectural buildings to themselves. Like an architectural sculpture on a pedestal in a clean gallery or museum’.
“To be honest, this series started with a couple of pictures I took in New York last november and I instantly fell in love with that reduced look. Then I crawled though my archive of the last two years and found more candidates […] from Hong Kong, England, Spain, France and Germany’, explains the photographer.
