THE SOHO SIDEBOARD AND COLECCIONISTA
The similar styles of designs of these pieces are not by chance. Both of these designs were among some of the first creations Boca do Lobo brought into the world. Soho is the name of Boca do Lobo’s first furniture collection. The drawers on both creations count different and varied techniques from glass to wood, lacquer colour to mirror and gold leaf, finely refined by brass handles.
It was with the launch of these products that a path was discovered, which gave room to a new way of thinking and design attitude that ends up becoming a language, a soul, a style: the Boca do Lobo style, that mixes techniques and styles of past with contemporary design. – Marco Costa
DIAMOND FAMILY
Projected to be the jewel in the crown of the Portuguese brand Boca do Lobo, the Diamond Sideboard is a reflection of the furniture jeweller’s expertise and quintessence, undoubtedly deserving its title. This opulent object, full of resources and desire, has two carefully sculpted doors that reveal a gold lined interior with a shelf and two drawers. But because we never settle, we continued to evolve this creation with the aid our trusting craftsmanship techniques, the Diamond Metamorphosis was born. The finest craftsmanship arises from the perfect marriage between ancient skills and mechanical methods to conceive the real expression of exclusivity and high collectable design.
Diamond was the first major challenge that mixed the modernist style and resulted in an unlikely combination. It was our intention to create two separate moments: a modern appealing visual confronted with a cultural discomfort due to its lion feet. – Marco Costa
MONDRIAN SIDEBOARD
When art becomes a sideboard your room acquires an evermore-inspiring atmosphere. The Mondrian sideboard is more art than utilitarian furniture. Undoubtedly, it constitutes a unique and collectable object that is different from anything else and exudes a sense of both experimental design and luxury. The sideboard’s base is composed by mahogany and tempered glass makes the box. It also contains carved drawers finished in high gloss coloured lacquer.
A combination of techniques that result from 18 different suppliers to achieve it. A handle here, a beveled mirror there, manual carving drawers and much more in a set of drawers of this piece that is strangely functional. – Marco Costa
HERITAGE SIDEBOARD
Hand-painted-tiles have gained a privileged place in architecture throughout the centuries. Portugal has adopted them like no other country has and to honour the Portuguese hand-painted tiles, Boca do Lobo created Heritage Sideboard. This piece presents a different number of layers, where each one tells a different story. Completely covered with the iconic Portuguese azulejos, the interior of this sideboard is equally stunning, featuring four drawers fully lined with gold leaf.
It was the first piece made in tiles by Boca do Lobo and the pleasure of exploring the technique was so great. It also resulted in one of the brand’s best sellers and one of the most representative products in Portugal and in Portuguese design. – Marco Costa
PIXEL CABINET
Iconic and unparalleled, the Pixel Cabinet presents a ground-breaking work of pioneering design. Made out of 1088 triangles, the upper part of the Pixel Cabinet plays with perception and combines exceptional materials with multicoloured compositions to give the cabinet a unique, striking design: handmade leaf gilding triangles, 10 different types of wood leafs from palisander to African walnut veneer, and lacquering. Behind its two doors, this bar cabinet surprises with a timeless combination of aged mirror and a diamond quilted blue silk fabric, containing nine interior drawers, each one with its golden knob. The polished brass base gives Pixel a unique and sophisticated character.
Special product, made in 2009 by the design studio of Boca do Lobo led by Marco Costa. Symbolizing the change, it was a product that broke the line drawn until then. Today it is one of the most loved pieces, loved by the press, loved by design afficcionatos and one of Boca do Lobo’s best sellers ever. – Marco Costa

The irregularities and flaws over the manual hammered brass expose the beauty of imperfection. Some parts are roughly asymmetrical at the surface yet comfortable and smooth in a peculiar way to excite a desire for complementing your living room.
