Once again this year, a rich calendar of events awaits in the various districts that make up Milano DesignWeek: Brera Design District, Zona Tortona, 5VIE, Milano Durini Design, and Isola Design District. These vibrant neighborhoods will come alive with exhibitions, installations, and showcases, each offering a unique perspective on the latest trends and innovations in design.
Brera Design District
The Brera Design District, now in its 15th edition, solidifies its status as the focal point of Fuorisalone, offering over 260 events in the district and hosting 196 permanent showrooms. It serves as the artistic heartbeat of Milan, renowned for its eclectic blend of modern and traditional designs.
Tortona Zone
The Tortona Zone returns with a fresh look and a communication proposal aimed at bringing together and narrating the diverse realities that animate it: Tortona Rocks, Tortona Design Week, Superstudio, and BASE. At the heart of these events are contemporary themes viewed through the lens of design, to address the challenges of tomorrow. Renowned for its immersive experiences and groundbreaking showcases, Tortona Zone continues to captivate and inspire.
5VIE
5VIE, where history intertwines with contemporary design, presents the new edition “Unlimited Design Orchestra,” expanding on the theme of the previous edition, “Design for Good.” This concept views design as a tool to create and foster profound human connections, with sustainability rooted in collaboration and sharing, akin to the harmonious elements of an orchestra.
Milano Durini Design
Milano Durini Design explores the theme of COLOR, viewed as design, emotion, vitality, and an essential element of everyday life and the most exclusive lifestyles. Color will serve as the unifying theme of the neighborhood and will be manifested through urban planning and diverse colorful elements, creating a visual narrative that adds value and identity to the district.
Isola Design District
Isola Design District embarks on a journey through sustainability and the functionality of design, showcasing its potential to address real-world issues and anticipate the future of the industry. The district expands into new areas: Lampo Milano, WAO PL7, and Galleria Bonelli. Five collective exhibitions and numerous invited installations will spotlight circular design, new materials, and craftsmanship. It stands as a hub for innovative and emerging design talents.
