Jessica Gersten is a New York-based interior designer with great aesthetics, no surprised there since she spent fifteen years in the fashion industry working with names like Polo Ralph Lauren and Giorgio Armani. The designer started her own company in 2008 and chose as her hallmark a modern eclectic style. With an eye for unique antiques, she mixes vintage and contemporary design, creating spaces which are unique and timeless.
One of her most unique projects is this Tenafly Interior Design Project. The luxurious yet inviting design is dominated by a warm and neutral color palette, providing a sense of earthiness and connection to nature. The use of organic shapes and a wide range of patterns and textures add to this feeling. The sophistication is also very present, the use of high-end furnishings and designer furniture elevates the softness of some of the spaces. Spots of gold and silver add to its luxurious feel. From a split Minotti Hamilton sectional to Boca do Lobo’s tree trunk–shaped brass-covered center table, one can tell that the designer has a unique vision when it comes to creating evocative spaces.
