For the design of this 40,000 sq ft majestic stucco-fronted private home, overlooking London’s leafy Hyde Park, Katharine has drawn on the property’s illustrious past. Previously an important ambassador’s residence – with dilapidated historic mouldings, marble staircases and parquet and marble flooring throughout – it was purchased for full renovation by an existing client.
Knightsbridge Apartment by Taylor Howes

The brief for reimagining this elegant Grade II listed apartment in the heart of Knightsbridge was to create a light, bright apartment that highlighted the listed elements of the property and reflected the seasonal garden tones of the square beyond. Including wintry blues, autumnal reds and bronzes, spring time greens and golden summer hues.

Together with David Gill, Francis Sultana gave a new life into this luxury residence in London: a place where modernity, history, and creativity were the main tools to build an iconic interior design project. Inspired by the Hamptons beach houses, there is a sophisticated house in central London designed by Melissa and Miller Interiors. The clients have always loved the look of a Hamptons beach house, therefore, the designers used the warmth, comfort and colour often found in these homes as the main inspiration for this interior design project. BRABBU makes a statement in the living room, with the No 20 Armchairs, a focal point of the room when someone walks into the front door.
As the lead designers in the conversion of the former Midland Bank, EPR Architects design creates a seamless transition between old and new, using the finest materials in a modern context and complementing the stunning interiors. The luxury hotel‘s accommodation consists of 252 diverse guest rooms.
