Jonny Horsfield founded the H2 Yacht Design studio in London in 1994. In the early years of the business, they worked almost exclusively on yacht refit projects, giving them a broad experience of working within strict timescales in various design styles with different budgets. During this time, H2 built an enviable reputation in the yachting community for being the experts in refit design.

H2 is a design firm that serves its clients, and as such, H2 prides itself on not having a “house style” replicated for every client. Established in 1994, H2 Studio is located in a quiet courtyard next to the river in Putney, south-west London. It is close to major fabric and furniture stores and only 30 minutes from central London and Heathrow Airport.

The studio has been specifically designed to inspire the team in their work, with open plan workspaces flooded with natural light. The comprehensively equipped fabric room has thousands of swatches, allowing the team to create colour palettes in a cohesive and imaginative way. Their suppliers are all nearby and play an important role in solving and refining their products to meet H2’s exacting standards.

The 80-metre Bilgin Yachts Tatiana is the first of three 80-metre Bilgin 263 superyachts being built by the Turkish shipyard. The 1,670 GT vessel, which springs from the drawing boards of Unique Yacht Design, features interiors by H2.

Tatiana’s contemporary layout includes spacious living areas, with a huge spa and beach club on the aft deck. She accommodates up to 12 guests in eight staterooms, including an owner’s cabin on its own deck, four additional guest cabins on the main deck and a guest cabin (plus two crew cabins) on the lower deck.

H2 has been growing since 1994 and is widely recognised as one of the most innovative and technically competent design teams in the yachting world. Their team shares a deep commitment to their work as well as enthusiasm for each project. With 20 years of experience, they continue to evolve their creativity, resulting in some of the most spectacular yachts, jets and residential properties in the world.
