FUR COCOON BY CAMPANA BROTHERS
The Campana Brothers have softened their original fiberglass Cocoon, from the Milan Objets Nomades, with short-hair lambskin upholstery. Suspended on a steel and brass hook, the pod envelops sitters in plush cushions. Like the Blossom stool, the Cocoon evokes the idea of a natural metamorphosis—really, the best sort of journey, where the end is a new beginning.
Louis Vuitton presented an installation composed of its most emblematic creations, some of which were specially made for Design Miami/from the most distinguished names in the products design industry to complete the Objets Nomades collection.
Sharing a sense of intuitiveness, desire, and pleasure, the Objets Nomades continue Louis Vuitton’s tradition of offering inspiring and surprising designs to clients all over the world.
Vincenzo De Cotiis creates transformative and organic pieces that surpass both time and beauty with coffee tables that resemble neo-romantic pools of water, contorted metal light fixtures shaped like twisted branches and table bases rooted like stumps of trees.
“The artist references and reinterprets art with just as much emphasis on the design process as the end product. As a result, Vincenzo De Cotiis creates unique, contemporary and highly aesthetic pieces that simultaneously work as pieces of furniture as well as sculptural art.”
Seating that recycles itself, RACKET CHAIR BY THE CAMPANA BROTHERS, in their Racket collection, combines bent brass, nylon stitched base, and a hand-stitched motif made from remnant backings of Thonet chairs, originally designed over a century ago.
An example of an utmost level of both skill and imagination combined to create an exceptionally unique object that will stand out in any room. Monochrome expresses the vision of its time, but also wins temporality in each detail.
The mystic behind the name inspires Eden. This center table represents a part of the tree of knowledge and the tale of the birth of desire. Boca do Lobo uses the highest quality materials and textures, giving them shapes through objects that create a cosmopolitan luxury environment, finding the finest example in this table.
Fully made of polished casted brass, with a delicately engraved top exposing the heart of a golden tree to the very heart of a home. Available in groups of 7, 8 or 14 pieces, the Eden Series offers a wide variety of combinations and adaptations to suit all kinds of interiors and settings.
The luxurious and bodacious Kelly sofa recalls the cool girl sipping Cosmos in the dark corner of a chic NYC lounge. Her fluid curves are harmoniously matched by sumptuously pleated waves of deep blue velvet upholstery.
