The studio’s full-service design was thought for clients who want to refresh or completely transform a room or the entire house! In the meanwhile, their distance design service is also suitable for the same clients who want professional feedback from afar. Their talented work has no boundaries!
The Distance Design service is perfect for clients who want to take their design project into their own hands, Amy Sklar Design offers the same client-centric design experience remotely.
On new construction and remodeling projects, this team works with clients, architects, contractors, and their trusted network of suppliers and craftsmen to oversee the myriad logistical elements that bring a design to life.
With skill and expertise, Amy Sklar‘s team takes care of all the elements that make up a truly refined and cohesive home. This process is similar to the full-service design, but is more involved and requires more collaboration during construction. They design, procure and install every single piece of the project and the result is the turnkey home of your dreams.
With a deep understanding of design, each project involves a professional team that is open-minded, has a good sense of humor, and has the willingness to listen. The result is a space with a soul that feels authentic and inviting.
Amy‘s nomadic upbringing exposed her to a variety of design and architectural styles at a young age. To date, she has lived in no less than 15 homes, ranging from a 100-year-old cottage made of shingle roofs to mid-century modern styles. These homes from her childhood inform her distinctive, genre-bending style and her deep understanding and appreciation for all things design.
