Boca do Lobo Blog brings you an inside look into the IK Appartement, an interior design project by COCHET / PAÏS. The family-owned design studio created by Yannick Cochet and Gregory Païs has developed this amazing French apartment overlooking the port of Cannes. Before COCHET / PAÏS‘s incredible work, this opulent residence was all set in just one floor, with a surface of 150m².
The interior design project consisted of the elevation of the building, to create an additional floor, transforming this luxury residence into a 250m² duplex facing the port of Cannes. The construction, remodelling, and decoration were done over the course of 2 years. The exquisite two-bedroom French apartment is fully decorated using furniture design by the world’s top luxury brands but uses neutral colours to bring a sense of soberness to the overall ambience.
The ceilings are detailed and stand out with a set of ceilings lights and chandeliers, and all the furniture is geometric and placed strategically. All rooms are detailed with small pieces of art letting the furniture design stand out.
