Met Gala 2019 ‘s theme was promising and that left many people anticipating from what is considered to be the best event in the world of fashion and with the year’s best red carpet. As soon as it was handed down, we got extremely excited about it and couldn’t wait for this year’s Met Gala red carpet.
This year’s Met Gala theme of the exhibit is inspired by Susan Sontag’s 1964 essay – Notes on Camp. Shortened down to just Camp, this theme meant that guests could take inspiration specifically from their work, or interpret the theme as they wished to. Plenty of celebrities took this theme pretty seriously and went all the way during the Met Gala 2019, some Met Gala outfits were a hit or miss, and today we’re presenting to you our top outfits of last night! Met Gala 2019 is a cry for extravaganza and fashion risks, but that doesn’t mean that you can’t opt for a simple look, but it’s the most flamboyant that cause the buzz. Ezra Miller enjoys taking risks on the red carpet, and indeed he did. For Met Gala 2019, he delivered a trippy beauty look wearing a Burberry suit.


“Camp is a woman walking around in a dress made of three million feathers,” said Anna Wintour, Vogue editor-in-chief about Met Gala 2019.


Katy Perry lit up Met Gala 2019’s red carpet dressed as a chandelier while wearing a Moschino dress. The singer mixed fashion and furniture for the event and caught everyone’s attention with her look.


No one does Met Gala quite like Lady Gaga herself. Gaga’s vivid pink ensemble quite literally stopped traffic as her lengthy, 25-foot train needed to be carried by five dancers, then Gaga performed some dramatic costume changes. Gaga’s jewelry was worth more than $1.75 million.




Wearing an outfit from designer Christian Siriano, Janelle Monáe went with a literal head-to-toe interpretation of the camp theme.


For his first appearance at one of fashion’s biggest events, the 25-year-old singer Harry Styles dressed to impress in a Gucci ensemble.

Billy Porter‘s entrance at Met Gala 2019 was the most fabulous of all times. Wearing a 24-karat gold headpiece, as well as custom gold-leaf Giuseppe Zanotti shoes and fine jewels by Andreoli and Oscar Heyman, this is one of the best looks of the night.


Kim Kardashian wore a beaded latex Thierry Mugler dress that took 8 months to make.


Lupita Nyong arrived in a colorful Calvin Klein gown at the Met Gala 2019 channeling a drag queen.


For the Met Gala 2019, Cara Delevingne arrived at the event wearing a sheer rainbow-striped playsuit from Dior’s haute couture spring/summer 2019 collection.
