When most people think about interior designing<\/strong> they tend to think of it as a superficial profession, not even an art form, which it is. What most people don\u2019t realize is that the same profession they tend to look upon might change an otherwise mundane existence into a daily emotional experience that lets you live away from the boundaries of your day to day routine. Through the years many have attempted to steps into this<\/p>\n

Through the years many have attempted to steps into this ever-changing realm, and although many have to lead a long successful career, few were the ones that really changed one\u2019s perception of space and its use.<\/p>\n

6. Thierry W. Despont<\/strong><\/h3>\n

He\u2019s not only\u00a0a designer<\/a> but also an artist and an architect, he is also known as belonging to the so-called old school of design. He was born in France but traveled and worked all over the world and he had many exhibits in New York.<\/p>\n

He was decorated for his work and was also part of the team that reconditioned the Statue of Liberty. Anyway, his clients are high society and his demands are the same.<\/p>\n

He\u2019s originally from Atlanta, but you can say he\u2019s from all over the world. A\u00a0remarkable designer<\/a>\u00a0and he turned into an advantage the fact that he used to work as a set designer. This way he can now adjust to all kinds of styles and genres without any preconceptions and stereotypes.<\/p>\n

He likes decorating and designing the interior of a house in order to reflect the owner\u2019s personality.<\/p>\n

8. Michael S. Smith<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\"Michael<\/a><\/p>\n

He\u2019s an American interior designer and his headquarters are in Los Angeles. As each artist is known for something, in particular, Smith is known as the one responsible for the interior designing of the White House ever since 2008, which is actually illustrative of the American style.<\/p>\n

The White House is iconic for the average American citizen, so you can only guess the value of the person chosen to decorate it. Of course, there are a lot of other projects that show his taste in interior design, like this\u00a0Tower Grove project<\/a>\u00a0for example.<\/p>\n

9. Catherine Widawska and Thomas Widawski<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\"Catherine<\/a><\/p>\n

These are two members of a Polish family of architects who succeeded at having a career and winning quite a number of\u00a0awards<\/a>, this way proving interior design is spread all over the world and so is good taste.\u00a0Their work and vision is defined by an apartment in Warsaw, Poland which they decorated in style. The interior of this apartment is made to look very modern and even futuristic at some points, being both beautiful and airy, comfortable and useful at the same time. It shows open space and a nice combination of colors, it\u2019s youthful and fun.Space is carefully divided according to the purpose given for each area so as to make the most of it.<\/p>\n

10. Robert Bailey<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\"interior<\/a><\/p>\n

He\u2019s the last one included in the list but this does not mean that he is less important than the others.\u00a0Robert Bailey<\/a>\u00a0is a Canadian interior designer and he mixes functionality with design, comfort with class.\u00a0This is perfectly shown in his work, for example in the way he arranged this beautiful Silversea Residence in Vancouver, Canada.<\/p>\n

The best thing about designing this apartment was the fact that he had to take everything from the start since the residence was completely demolished and renovated, which is a lot easier than working with what you already have there. So the designer was asked to find a way to cover a toddler\u2019s needs and the adults \u2018 ones, too, without visible intrusions in each others\u2019 lifestyles and areas.<\/p>\n
