A mod-meets-medina resort<\/strong> set among olive groves, reflecting pools, and a profusion of roses, the new Mandarin Oriental<\/strong><\/a>, Marrakech combines the Moroccan city\u2019s picturesque charm with a crisp cosmopolitan look. Parisian architect Pascal Desprez<\/strong> conceived the 50-acre property, while the firm Gilles & Boissier<\/strong> dressed the interiors with handwoven rugs, latticework accents, and walls stippled in tadelakt<\/em> plasterwork. Amenities include three restaurants, a spa with hammams, and access to three local golf courses.<\/p>\n

Four Seasons Hotel \u2013 Mexico<\/strong><\/h4>\n

The Mexico City hotel has undergone an extensive makeover and now boasts bright colors and avant-garde design. Baccarat Hotel \u2013 New York<\/strong><\/h4>\n

French design team Gilles & Boissier<\/strong> devise a chic setting with luxe materials that include Baccarat\u2019s crystal chandeliers and glassware. The otherworldly interiors within the Baccarat realm were both imagined and realized by Gilles & Boissier.<\/strong> The acclaimed Paris-based design duo lavished their attention on its soaring salons and 114 rooms and suites, each accented with Baccarat crystal and the fiery crimson shade of Baccarat red.<\/p>\nThe hotel\u2019s modern, vibrantly eccentric social spaces are anchored by luxe elements\u2014pleated silk walls, a rug printed in a crystal glass pattern, a monumental white marble table. New York design masters Tony Ingrao and Stephen Sills, respectively, oversaw the aesthetics of Baccarat\u2019s 60 magnificent residences.\n

The Chess Hotel \u2013 Paris<\/strong><\/h4>\nBeautifully colored clay, mustard hues and three shades of blue. The Chess Hotel<\/strong> offers a distinct and original color scheme<\/strong><\/a>. It changes subtly from one element to another and forms the setting for furniture of exceptional design quality.\n\nThe furniture designs originating from the Gilles and Boissier<\/strong> collection naturally occupy a prominent place. Within the guest rooms can be found some of their most inspired creations; suspensions, chairs \u2026 and even four-poster beds in some of our Deluxe accommodation.\n\nThe luxury hotel<\/strong> <\/em>also has outstanding ornamental details. Thus, the checkerboard design that adorns the lobby floor and reflects the name of the establishment is mirrored in miniature upon the walls of the bathrooms.\n\nOn the doors of these, we find the graphic designs of the artist Cyprien Chabert, who also created the monumental mural that runs from the second floor to the roof of the hotel. Even then, art lovers will not have finished marveling, as a detour to the lobby will demonstrate.\n
