Charles-\u00c9douard Jeanneret-Gris \u2013 also known as\u00a0Le Corbusier<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 was a Swiss-French architect<\/strong> and furniture\u00a0designer<\/strong><\/em> famed for his metropolitan plan designs such as the\u00a0Unit\u00e9 d\u2019Habitation in France and restructuring\u00a0Chandigarh,\u00a0the capital for Indian states\u00a0Punjab and Haryana. Le Corbusier<\/strong> proceeded to provide innovative architectural<\/strong> projects during his career, including in the field of furniture design<\/strong>. He founded his own furniture design<\/strong> company in 1928 with a standout collection, including a set of lounge chairs through a collaborative alliance with Charlotte Perriand and\u00a0Pierre Jeanneret.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Marcel Breuer<\/strong> began operating in Berlin before moving to the US in 1937; he finally started up his own practice in 1946. A\u00a0clean break from the more popular heavy furniture designs<\/strong> at the time, the Wassily Chair\u2019<\/strong>s light structure was encouraged by the stable tubular iron more so used for bikes, a forward-thinking style that presently personified his Bauhaus roots.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vico Magistretti<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Vico Magistretti\u00a0<\/strong>began his design<\/strong> career by developing metropolitan projects in the city of\u00a0Milan.
