\"\"<\/a><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\nBoca do Lobo chose to present one of the most typical and ancient arts from Portugal: filigree, a\u00a0jewelry technique used to solder tiny beads and twisted threads.\n\n\"\"<\/a>\n\nFiligree is the most delicate technique used to work precious metals, usually of gold and silver. It is an age old and detailed jewelry expression in which skilled artisans painstakingly solder tiny beads and twisted threads to create striking artistic motifs, suggesting often an exquisite and intricate lace-like patterns.\n\n\"\"<\/a>\n\nBoca do Lobo showcased one of its most iconic pieces, the Filigree Mirror, completely hand crafted, with each brass cord fitted with precision, an ode to the portuguese culture.\n\n\"\"<\/a>\n\n\"\"<\/a>\n\n\"\"<\/a>\n\n\"\"<\/a>\n\nOther portuguese arts deserve our attention such as Azulejo, an incredibly detailed technique of hand painting tiles. Usually it is used as a form of expression and decoration filling up the walls with stories and beautiful paintings. Boca do Lobo uses this technique on the Heritage Series, a family of furniture that includes stunning pieces for a wide range of house divisions and styles.\n\n\"\"<\/a>\n\n\"\"<\/a>Hand-painted-tiles have gained a privileged place in architecture throughout the centuries. Portugal has adopted them like no other country has. The Heritage Series presents a different number of layers, where each one tells a different story. A sideboard lined with hand painted tiles, for example, where in its interior there is one door and four drawers fully lined with gold leaf.
