Interconnecting to the industry\u2019s top brands, Baselworld<\/em><\/strong> is the exclusive platform to an eagerly curious international audience and everyone who wants to know what the latest trends. This year edition will be markedly different from past shows and see the halls absent of significant brands like Omega, Breguet, Blancpain, Hamilton, Longines<\/strong>, and Tissot<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Some biggest names, such as Rolex<\/strong> and Patek Philippe<\/strong> will still be in attendance in Baselworld<\/em><\/strong> 2019. As will the LVMH Group<\/strong> with Hublot, TAG Hauer<\/strong>, and Zenith<\/strong> will be showing off their new timepieces<\/strong> with a unique design.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Baselworld<\/em><\/strong> comprised more than 2000 exhibitors and will match with SIHH<\/strong> in 2020 where the two major timepieces<\/strong> events will take place one after the other, making it easier for visitors attending both exhibitions. During Baselword<\/em><\/strong> 2019<\/strong>, there will be a state-of-the-art-showroom that will show the immaculate craftsmanship<\/strong> of talented horologists. Rolex<\/strong> has also improved its production of amagnetic parts and updating the Milgauss would make a lot of sense. Finally, this luxury watch has been heavily advertised by the brand recently, which could be a sign of things to come.<\/p>\n

Looking at past models by Tudor<\/strong>, there are few watches that sport a triangular index at 9 o\u2019clock, like the Tudor Prince OsyterDate Submariner ref. 79090, a watch produced by the brand in 1989. Tudor will reintroduce at Baselworld<\/strong><\/em> the Submariner Date in the collection, not as a true re-edition but as a watch with some elements inspired by the ref. 79090 \u2013 two watches with a matching bezel and printed indexes.<\/p>\n

While the case and the bezel could be retained, we can expect some other drastic changes dial-side by Tudor<\/strong>. The famous Black Bay Date is slightly different: this version should be equipped with the in-house MT5612 caliber.<\/p>\n

Luxury goods group LVMH\u2019s<\/strong> watch brands will be present at the next edition of the Baselworld<\/em><\/strong>, the outgoing head of its watch division told CNN Money Switzerland, adding the world\u2019s biggest trade show needs to make changes in 2020.<\/p>\n

About Patek Philipe<\/strong>,\u00a0there is a strong chance there will be new versions of it in this Baselworld<\/strong><\/em> edition.\u00a0 However, this luxury brand,\u00a0<\/strong>that honors the craftsmanship,<\/strong> is turning 180 years old in 2019 and will present some models to mark the occasion are likely.<\/p>\n

Chanel<\/b> will showcase their new collection of watches at\u00a0Baselworld<\/em>\u00a02019<\/strong>. Staying true to its brand identity, Chanel<\/strong> has released four\u00a0unique<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0sophisticated timepieces.\u00a0<\/strong>The new\u00a0limited edition\u00a0Premi\u00e8re Rock \u00c9dition Noire<\/strong> takes a classic and gives it a new\u00a0contemporary design<\/strong>. Another one is the second addition to the Boy\u2219Friend<\/strong> range, the Tweed Art<\/strong> has an 18K beige-gold case and bezel with a tweed pattern dial \u201cGrand Feu\u201d enamel face and onyx cabochon crown.<\/p>\n
