As the home for stars like Rudolph Valentino, Jean Harlow and James Dean, the neighbourhood has become symbolic as the birthplace of what is now Hollywood. It continues to be one of the primary creative and cultural hubs in Los Angeles. Today, the Prospect Hollywood has undergone a transformative restoration, while paying homage to the history and authenticity inherent in the architecture and neighbourhood. Reimagined by PRG Hospitality Group in collaboration with designer Martyn Lawrence Bullard<\/strong><\/em>, the luxury hotel<\/strong><\/a> has been updated with a sophisticated sensibility, while incorporating the glamour of the era. Using custom and vintage furnishings<\/strong><\/a>, the Prospect presents each guest with a distinct experience.\n

Each Martyn Lawrence Bullard<\/strong><\/em> designed room was inspired by the property\u2019s Hollywood history and former neighbourhood residents. Bullard brings each room to new life with a Hollywood Regency foundation incorporating custom furnishings and vintage accents<\/strong>. Each room is uniquely designed to have its own look and feel.\n\n\n

\"\"<\/a><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\nThe hotel\u2019s 24 suites are categorized into guest rooms and king rooms. There are four different guest room designs, and each king room is different from the next. Gold-leafed ceilings and custom wallpaper, leopard-print carpeting, vintage furniture, and an array of artwork are some of the guest room highlights.\n\nSome suites have kitchens, others have claw-foot tubs in the middle of the bedroom. There are no rules, and surprises can be found around every corner. In the king rooms, each suite is inspired by a specific Hollywood icon. The Mata Hari suite\u2014one of Martyn Lawrence Bullard<\/strong><\/em>\u2019s favourites\u2014features chinoiserie-sheathed walls topped with photographs of Greta Garbo and old movie posters. Mirrored finishes, metallic trim, and vintage crystal stemware tie the space together. Odd bits of memorabilia, vintage postcards, and even old movie tickets can be found throughout the suite as well.\n
