Inspired by a Tom Hanks movie where the titular character has an NYC loft<\/a><\/strong> with an open concept design, Dorian Bowen<\/strong> infused this ethos into his own design firm<\/strong>, by creating Project One<\/span><\/em><\/strong>. The design firm<\/a><\/strong> is based in Penarth, offers a variety of services such as interior architecture, interior design, furniture designs<\/a><\/strong> by some of the world\u2019s most coveted brands<\/a><\/strong>, and a wide range of expertise that all work towards the same goal: enhancing their clients home living experience<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stay with us as we unravel Project One\u2019s most recent interior design project, a Chic Estate in the countryside of Wales. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Project One\u2019s<\/em><\/strong> client relocated from the bright lights of London to the Welsh countryside and wanted to bring a little bit of sophisticated urban style<\/strong> with them. The rooms<\/a><\/strong> had to be stylish and great for entertaining with music a must.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The design firm<\/strong> negotiated with the conservation department to keep the feel of this significant listed building while adding Project One classics<\/strong>. They love getting the opportunities to use their key supplier accounts so a trip to Milan Molteni & C factory<\/strong> was quickly booked in to specify furniture<\/strong> while they developed a new medium for their custom artwork<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Project One<\/em><\/strong> wanted this whole design project<\/strong> to flow like a mood board<\/a><\/strong> so they developed a resin finish<\/strong> for the huge custom artwork<\/strong> incorporating all of the colour boards, they wanted it day time shiny, night time moody. Project One<\/em><\/strong> added wall panelling and black parquet flooring and for an immaculate mirror finish, they restored the joinery and spray colour wrapped the rooms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
