Dimore Studio<\/strong><\/em> started as a small interior design<\/strong> studio as a cult place for only an elite group of experts, transformed over time into a globally celebrated phenomenon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Emiliano Salci<\/strong>\u00a0is from Tuscany, Italy, and\u00a0Britt Moran<\/strong>\u00a0is from the United States. As Moran started out his career as a graphic designer, Salci worked as a furniture designer<\/a><\/strong> and subsequently made his first steps in the fashion industry. Dimore Studio<\/strong><\/em> research is mostly driven by their personal sensibility fused with an uninhibited yet extremely controlled eclectic approach resulting in precious and dreamy atmospheres. In Italian, the word \u201cDimore<\/em>\u201d means abodes or dwellings, but it also evokes nostalgia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"Where<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

When Dimore Studio<\/strong><\/em> started out, the pair occupied a single room and employed just one assistant. Today, they oversee a staff of 20 in a 2,100-square-foot space. Dimore Studio<\/strong><\/em> work is internationally renowned for having worked with major names in the design and fashion industry. Dimore Studio<\/strong><\/em> has collaborated with Herm\u00e8s<\/strong> and Bottega Veneta<\/strong>; designed the hip Casa Fayette hotel<\/strong> in Guadalajara, Mexico; imagined menswear brand Boglioli\u2019s first US flagship (in Noho), and created a range of covetable furniture pieces for Cappellini.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWith every project that we begin and that we approach and we accept to do, we\u2019re always very enthusiastic about the project itself\u201d. \u201cUsually the people who contact us already know our work very well, and immediately we are able to create a relationship with them. So it does become a  bit emotional for us as well\u201d \u201cEmotional in good ways and bad ways. Because obviously, we confront ourselves with the client often, so there\u2019s a lot of emotion around the project itself\u201d<\/p>says Britt Moran<\/strong> to Interiors Magazine<\/strong>.<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

In February 2014 Dimore Studio<\/strong><\/em> transformed their apartment into a gallery for the furniture collection they\u2019ve designed and decamped to a new space in Milan, which overlooks the garden of Piero Portaluppi\u2019s modernist masterpiece, Villa Necchi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThere\u2019s a perpetual link [in their work] between the past and the future,\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
