Inspired by the hotel\u2019s unique location, every detail is inspired by the park and the ever-changing sky above the city.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The design narrative runs through the rest of the hotel: a revival of 1920s Century Golden Age travel combined with signature silhouettes from the era, including Art Deco<\/a><\/strong> details integrated with park-inspired botanical textures and colours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lights of the Penthouse Suites hotel refer to the design of the Crown Jewels collection; the studio has interpreted their geometries and sockets as luminous jewels. Opal glass wall lights resemble pearls set like precious stones, flanking each side of the individually designed master bed<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A tricolour mosaic backdrop for the penthouse guest bath, complete with elongated vanity mirrors<\/a><\/strong> and counters with fluted mirror aprons. These bathrooms are uniquely located in the turrets of the hotel, benefiting from beautiful natural light. Slide open the door and the guest room is enveloped by an elegant interpretation of the rhythmic ironwork Hyde Park. The fluted mirror design for the vanity aprons continues into the nightstand designs<\/a><\/strong>, with details that show parallels between the bathroom and bedroom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The penthouse\u2019s flexible architectural layout focuses on two interconnecting suites, the Mandarin and the Oriental, designed to form a three-bed suite that spans the entire length of the 9th floor, creating one of the largest penthouse suites<\/strong><\/a> in London.
