To celebrate Tom Dixon\u2019s<\/a><\/em><\/strong> 20th anniversary<\/strong>, the British design brand will host \u2018TWENTY\u2019<\/em><\/strong>, an unprecedented exhibition in Milan <\/em><\/strong>to coincide with Salone del Mobile<\/em><\/strong>. From the 7th \u2013 the 12th of June<\/em>, new <\/strong>and iconic collections <\/strong>will be shown for the first time in not just one but two locations: Palazzo Serbelloni <\/em><\/strong>and The Manzoni<\/em><\/strong>, the brand\u2019s hub in Milan<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\nTWENTY <\/em>At Palazzo Serbelloni<\/em>\n<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

TWENTY<\/strong>, an exhibition celebrating 20 years of design <\/strong>and innovation <\/strong>will be hosted at\u00a0Palazzo Serbelloni<\/strong><\/em>, a neoclassical <\/strong>palace where Sotheby\u2019s \u2013 the world\u2019s largest marketplace<\/strong> for art <\/strong>and luxury <\/strong>\u2013 has its Milan <\/em>galleries <\/strong>and offices<\/strong>. The event will focus on innovation and materiality <\/strong>with 20 unseen<\/strong> creations <\/strong>on display.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Visitors <\/strong>will be invited to explore a thoughtfully curated selection <\/strong>of designs<\/strong>: some inspired by Tom Dixon\u2019s<\/em><\/strong> most recognized collections<\/strong> such as MIRROR BALL, MELT<\/em><\/strong>, and FAT<\/em><\/strong>, some upgraded, and some in embryonic experiment-mode, providing a reflective <\/strong>yet future-thinking overview<\/strong> of Tom\u2019s prolific portfolio and journey to becoming one of Britain\u2019s most celebrated designers<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2018You will find us tucked away in a historic palazzo in the center of Milan where the British auction institution Sotheby\u2019s has its Italian headquarters. There could not have been a better platform to show TWENTY objects that explain some of the history, some of the processes of manufacture but also some of the new developments that describe the future of the brand. All of this coincides with Sotheby\u2019s first Italian design sale, where the central position of Milan as the global capital for creativity is reaffirmed<\/em>.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n
