Sporting some of the world\u2019s most opulent design brands<\/strong>, such as\u00a0Roberto Cavalli<\/strong><\/em>, Trussardi<\/strong><\/em>, Giorgetti<\/strong> <\/em>and of course, Boca do Lobo<\/strong><\/em><\/a>, the architectural firm<\/strong> perfectly showcases their vision of never compromising\u00a0interior design<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We wanted to show the world that sustainable homes can be luxurious. Being our own home we wanted to experiment with the concept on our home.\u201d \u2013 NA Architects<\/strong><\/em>, about NR House<\/strong>, which is the home of\u00a0Niroop and Rupana Reddy<\/strong>, the architect<\/strong> and interior designer<\/strong>\u00a0respectively, behind this private residence<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Positioning the luxury home<\/strong> towards the back of the site created the opportunity for the living spaces<\/strong> to step down with the terraced landscape, seamlessly extending the usable space. NA Architects\u2019<\/strong><\/em> approach explored various strategies to maximize the perception of space, such as cavity doors to blur the distinction between interior and exterior spaces and allow the cool summer breezes to flow through the house. The pool accentuates<\/strong> the lines of perspective<\/strong>, exaggerating the length of the property, leading the eye to the horizon and further contributing to the illusion of space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The NR House<\/strong> became an opportunity to advance the expression of form, space, and lifestyle associated with the location \u2013 the long, narrow site backs onto a glade of tall trees to the south. NA Architects\u2019<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0first objective was to try to maximize the perception of space and they achieved that by creating generous outdoor covered spaces, which make it feel as if the interiors spill outwards and extend to the front of the site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Heritage Dining Table<\/a><\/strong>, much like its sibling Heritage Sideboard and Cabinet, is a highly sophisticated <\/strong>piece inspired by Portuguese history through the use of traditional hand-painted azulejo tiles<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n
