The architectural project was created by renowned firm Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP (SOM). In Midtown Manhattan, located on 53rd Street between 5th and 6th Avenue, the striking glass tower is a breathtaking 347,000-gross-square-foot building. French glamorous heritage meets urban New York style in this elegant and sophisticated building that is the epitome of luxury living.
From its contrasting exterior to its high-end interiors, the luxury living project is an homage to the Baccarat history and the Big Apple. Jet black aluminum panels reference the austerity and minimalism of its neighbor, Edward Durell Stone’s landmark MoMA building. Clad with crystal-clear glass, the building’s surfaces evoke Baccarat’s heritage. The 50-story structure contains distinct environments that are stacked vertically above one other, a public library, on the ground floor and one level below, a 9-story luxury hotel within the tower’s podium. The luxury condominiums are on floors 18 to 49.
Besides architecturally imponent, the Baccarat Hotel & Residences in New York are also a design inspiration! Gilles & Boissier designed the hotel’s 114 guestrooms and suites, and New York-based Tony Ingrao was responsible for the interior design of the 60 residences.
With outstanding views over the Central Park and the Empire State Building, the interior design of the spaces is highlighted by the abundant natural light. French-inspired decoration is combined with contemporary design, high-end furnishings and lush materials to provide the ultimate luxury living experience.

The residences range from one to five bedrooms and from 934 square feet to 7,381 square feet in size. Among them are six full-floor homes, three duplexes and the pièce de résistance, the duplex penthouse. Luxury living indeed!
