Drawing inspiration from extensive travels, an active interest in contemporary art and fashion, and a rigorous lifestyle, Sara wields a keen eye to exact her aesthetic vision: crisp, elegant, and comfortable gestures that thoughtfully balance multiple elements of good design for an everyday, polished Life.
Story designed a plan where in each room would happen something surprising “each artwork is in conversation with another piece of art or a chair or a lamp”. With a neutral palette, Sara introduced elements to add some fun, color and bring the owners personality into every room. The modern interior design project is the perfect setting to appreciate the spectacular mountain views.

A Damien Hirst Spin painting makes a strong statement in the modern dining area. Designer Sara Story designed the space with a sculptural sideboard by Boca Do Lobo, a custom-made dining table, and vintage chairs.
A large Diana al-Hadid painting, a Haas Brothers Beast chair from R & Co., and a Peter Lane ceramic stool.
In a hallway an Andisheh Avini painting on carpet above a vintage Charlotte Perriand sideboard.
The master suite is designed like the rest of the house, a selected art gallery like a Juan Genoves painting is given pride of place above the bed. The bathroom features a funny banana pattern Flavor Paper wall.Photos: David Marlow
