Luis Laplace gave me a hand when the interior designer Carole Katleman” said the owner. “I am super Latina, there are traditions that I carry with me to each of my residences, I was born in Veracruz and in my country, with that rich craftsmanship, you get in touch since childhood with the world of creation if you are attentive”.
Luis Laplace interior design project focus on modern simplicity and elegance. In this Parisian apartment he uses space, light and structured design to create a comfortable, yet extremely chic, interior.
“It was a typical 19th-century apartment that had been renovated several times and its soul was gone. He designed a luminous space in neutral tones only broken by bursts of blue color.
The architect brought design concepts using inspiration from the owners’ local cultures and traditions. A mix of French tradition, exclusive 20th-century antiques and bespoke furniture crafted in Paris.
