Situated in The Bloomsbury Hotel, the Coral Room is inside an architectural building that has been transformed into a marvelous oasis by the hands of Martin Brudnizki. From the art deco-inspired details with a unique design, the lively colored walls, and attractive textures, everything inside this interior design project makes everyone feel walking in a film scene.
Tropical themes complement a surprising element of warmth, but the most important and relevant focal point is the Calcutta marble bar. With a contemporary interior design by Martin Brudnizki, The Coral Room resonances the building’s unique heritage and conserves original detailing, all whilst mixing together delicate modern furniture, stunning craftsmanship pieces and soft tones with geometric forms.
The bar area was also redesigned by Martin Brudnizki. With the original paneled walls, were applied a high-gloss lacquer finish in striking coral pink. Besides this, were added antique mirrors with a unique design, glass chandeliers, and also iconic sofas and armchairs. Inside the space, it is possible to get impressed by more than thirty fine art pieces created by the artist Luke Edward Hall.
Inside the lounge area, there is a fireplace that is, for sure, the focal point where all the warm and comfortable ambiance born.
Martin Brudnizki’s philosophy is to bring a lived-in-luxurious feel to high-glamour projects, and keeping a highly flexible approach that respects each client’s needs and character, taking into account it’s contextual environment: the location, the history, and the social impact. The Coral Room in London is an example of this winning combination that has been the recipe for the practice’s success in major international interior design projects of all varieties.
