Hyatt Regency hotels have chosen the city of Aqaba in Jordan, for its recent luxury opening at the Hyatt Regency Aqaba Ayla Resort. Located in the newly built Marina Village, the famous hotel chain worked with interior designer Yabu Pushelberg and the architecture studio Arcadia Design to create a peaceful retreat set between imposing mountains and turquoise lagoons. The perfect home for two of the most iconic pieces of Boca do Lobo’s collection.
In this interior design project, as well as working with Yabu Pushelberg, other great brands united, as Boca do Lobo, Roda Outdoor Furniture, and Tribú.
The Hyatt Regency Aqaba Ayla Resort is a beautiful retreat nestled in a great natural landscape, offering 285 rooms and 37 regency suites, 4 executive suites, one prince suite, and the most important, the royal site with spectacular views from a private terrace over the marina or the lagoons.
The Royal Suite – A Nature Inspired Luxury Room
As expected, the Royal Suite is the “precious jewel” of this luxury hotel, not only because of the view that surrounds it but also its interior, where every detail contributes to unique perfection. Combining wood, with earthy and white tones, this suite is the perfect spot for relaxation and light-heartedness moments in total comfort.
In the master bedroom, simplicity reigns. This room has a unique atmosphere thanks to the colours and the shapes of the pieces that compose the interior design. The bedroom is connected to a bathroom, also in wood, that embraces the minimalist concept, incredibly, creating a luxurious yet comfortable ambience.

A slice of the tree of life that fell from the Garden of Heaven, this mystic-inspired piece perfectly makes the connection to Nature, that has been present in this whole interior design. Finding their place in two opposite corners of the room, two Pixel Anodized cabinets, also by Boca do Lobo are styled just like a mirror, facing each other. This tile piece adds a futuristic element to the interior design, never forgetting the basic tones of the room. This iconic design piece is exclusive, unique, but functional, perfectly fitting the modern hotel.
The Hyatt Regency Aqaba Ayla Resort is an excellent example of the perfect marriage between luxury and the simplicity of natural tones.
