Inside the historic Hotel des Bergues in Geneva, Ladurée celebrates sweetness in a playful and unique way and invited none other than the iconic India Mahdavi to design the space.
The French pastry brand has just opened a new and spectacular address in Geneva, Switzerland, the three spaces complementing each other with the interior design concept “a garden of delights”.
Mahdavi features on Coveted Magazine and Boca do Lobo for the Top 100 Interior Designers of 2017 list.

Following a playful aesthetic, characterized by curved shapes and soft tones, India Mahdavi designs places that escape the baroque style already known of the Ladurée. In place of the golden ornaments, she reinterprets the references of the universe of the delicate French.
Curving forms and color palette of soft pastel hues make this space an unique space. Shades of green for the walls, curtains and the upholstery of designer chairs. The velvet appears as a contrasting element, also on the violet sofas.
Rounded tables, windows, and details complement the retro feel. Even Lewis Carroll couldn’t imagine such an ethereal coffee for Alice in Wonderland.
