Considered by the studio manager, Lara German, as one of the studio’s most difficult yet beloved design projects, this 2 level luxury penthouse is situated in Kiev, and was designed for Studio Guru Design. Envisioning a sultry yet luxurious design project can be difficult for the untrained mind. Everyone knows what their dream interior design would look like, however, put those thoughts into a reality isn’t always that easy, that’s why we have amazing interior designers and design studios, to help our dreams come true!

The difficulty of this project, in particular, is attributed to the fact that the studio was tasked with combining two apartments (one above the other) into one seamless private residence. For that to happen, it was necessary to redesign the staircase so that it would be positioned in a way that allowed to correctly enter the space while at the same time occupying as little of the room as possible. The final outcome is truly bold and original.

While this meant that it would take more than a year for the project to finally be ready, the customer was so pleased with the prospect for his vision, that he agreed to wait, so he could see his dream luxury penthouse turn into a reality.

In addition to all these technical difficulties, the style that the customer chose for the luxury penthouse was also very outside the box, or as the studio calls it: “an eclectic mix of the disparate”.

Featuring many unique items, ranging from marble countertops inlaid with semiprecious stones to furniture designs created specifically for this project, this luxury penthouse is tailor-made for its owner’s needs and wants.
