House Beautiful invited Noz Design to design and bring to life a room in their 2020 Whole Home Concept House, in Franktown, Colorado. The new-construction 5,400 square foot house featured 11 interior design teams’ concepts; ours was the front half of the large downstairs bonus room.

says Nozawa, who founded her firm, Noz Design, in 2014.

Its hosting spaces luxury interiors were architecturally beautiful and only needed furnishings, finishes, and lighting; but the functional spaces.

Chez Noz is the Designer’s own home in Hayes Valley, San Francisco. A never-ending project, Noz has been utilizing her condo as a test kitchen for design ideas since 2010.

This stately pre-1906 residence was designed by neoclassical architect Julius Kraft, and fully renovated with an eye toward bringing more openness and light into the home by intersecting modern lines with preserved architectural ornamentation throughout the house.

Noz Design anchored the design in the client’s favorite jewel tones and statement Kelly Wearstler wallpaper; then we revamped the overhead lights, added decorative wall sconces, and placed floor lamps, for layered lighting.
