The founders of the top interior designers, Apparatus have made their loft in New York a laboratory for their boldest and exquisite creations. With a modern aesthetic and a nostalgia vibe, they reinvented the concept of opulence.

Hendifar and Jeremy Anderson, the founding couple of the Apparatus studio in 2012, have replicated in their Manhattan home the spirit of their signature style, one of the most daring and elegant design studios.

“Jeremy found it, who is a kind of detective for this,” continues Hendifar, creative director. It was a completely open space, we fell in love with its light and, although we did not make any modifications, we wanted a more formal thing, an intermediate formula between a loft and a conventional apartment.”

The interior design is not guided by any rule beside their tastes and obsessions, the veined marble of the kitchen, the leather and brass of the headboard of his bed, sensual textiles such as velvet, which surrounds the walls of the bedroom contrast with the lacquer and resin of the entrance console.

Everything is mixed as in a game, with reminiscences that the duo places between Art Deco, rationalism or even surrealism. The real stars are their own home accessories and furniture designs. “Many of our collections start with objects that we want to live with. Putting them to the test in your own home is an excellent opportunity to test new forms and materials, “he says.

About to open a showroom in Los Angeles, after those in New York and Milan, this interior design project works as a test for another experiment: the collection of ceramic figures that Anderson will present alone in the spring.
