Located in the heart of West Village, New York, The Shepard building draws attention to its historic character. A former revival-style factory, and today, behind a brick facade that was preserved are high-end residential building with this modern apartment.
and cozy feeling thanks to a personalized decoration. French-style furniture from the 1940s and mid-century was used in this project some with refined lines, they are complemented by contemporary pieces and materials, as well as a unique art collection.
In the living room, the undulating shapes of the sofa and cylindrical tables create a smooth movement. The fluidity between the different areas was reinforced by means of pure materials. The textures add visual complexity and merge with a palette of gold, yellow and blue with metallic details.
Designed by Gachot Studios, the kitchen consists of a central marble island and black granite work surfaces. The bedroom is designed with luxurious fabrics and wallpaper, as a haven of serenity. Every detail reflects the personality of the owners, who were looking for a comfortable and creative home.
