In Toronto, the architect Gianpiero Pugliese transformed what used to be a commercial building into his dream contemporary home. Today it is the home of Gianpiero Pugliese, founder of the Canadian firm Audax, his wife, and two children. The interior design reflects a harmonious fusion between modern and traditional elements.

The organization of the spaces, which extend to an area of almost 280 square meters brings together three bedrooms, this interior design project was inspired by the style of the typical New York apartment.
An elevator provides direct access to the apartment from the street. Inside, you will discover the main living space that was conceived with an open floor plan with a warmth and rich decor.
The finishes are luxurious and for the furniture selection, he looked into the modern Italian style. Most of the luxury furniture is part of the Audax collection such as the Evelyn armchair, the Vasari table and Raphael chairs in the Raphael dining room, as well as the Donatello console. Luxurious details reflect the New York style that the architect was looking for.
The winter garden was added to the house during the construction. Audax designed a space with windows that can be opened on three sides. This lovely outdoor area in summer becomes an indoor space the rest of the year. With its clean lines, the kitchen has a contemporary style.
The chandelier that adorns the master bedroom was bought by the couple during their honeymoon in Venice, Italy. In the bathroom, several elements of the decoration offer classic touches.
