Sun City Kobe is a modern residential design project that honors Japanese culture, located 500 kilometers from Tokyo, with an interior design project honors artisan pieces and references to local traditions. The 35-story residential tower on the seashore has just been completed, a design project that began to be generated 15 years ago. Since then, the Bamo studio in San Francisco has been revising the interior design to adapt it and adapt it to our days.

Sun City Kobe houses 483 independent modern apartments of various sizes, as well as common spaces for the residents. Several lounges and restaurants, a massage room and a gym are just some of the facilities.
On the ground floor, half of which is used for social activities, there is a lobby that leads to the patio-garden, the library, a tea room and a chapel. A calm and airy feeling emerges thanks to the refined lines, the light colors and the high ceilings. Various design elements were made to order and with local materials to support Japanese artisans and honor the culture and traditions of the country.
At the same time on the seashore and with views towards the mountains and the city, this project reflects sophistication and tranquility. Its bright and natural look reinforces the visual connection with the garden and vegetation.
The noble materials and color pallet become darker and the focus towards the exterior panorama is greater. At the highest level of the tower has a pool and a Jacuzzi, dining rooms and elegant lounges.
Japanese art pieces, Zen gardens, you’ll find several details inspired by origami: many elements recall the richness of a thousand-year-old culture.
