The owners of this house were tired of the chaotic traffic they suffered every weekend as they went from\u00a0New York\u00a0to the\u00a0<\/strong>Hamptons<\/strong>, so they decided to buy this\u00a0traditional<\/strong>\u00a0house\u00a0in the quiet area of\u00a0Hudson Valley surrounded by a natural and serene environment, with two heights and facade of wood and stone.
\nFrom the outside, there is no hint of what is hidden\u00a0<\/strong>inside, commissioned by interior designer<\/strong>\u00a0Sasha Baikoff<\/strong><\/a>.\u00a0They met her through a decoration magazine<\/strong> and immediately were fascinated by her\u00a0luxurious design<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\nThere are many layers in the modern interior<\/strong> of this living room, with puffy chairs, rock-like black center tables and a beautiful white sofa with sleek Italian lines. The marble pattern on the rug looks absolutely stunning under the Sputnik-inspired chandelier and the only pop of brightness comes from the contemporary painting on the back wall.
\n\u201cMy challenge was to integrate references to\u00a0nature<\/strong>\u00a0through a design that reflected the owner\u2019s preferences for\u00a0metal elements, mirrored surfaces, leather and skin,<\/strong>\u00a0\u201d says\u00a0Sasha Bikoff<\/strong>\u00a0.<\/p>\n

\nTwo sideboards in very\u00a0distinct styles, one in the hallway on the other on a back wall, fill the modern interior with life. On the first, the mirror reflects the stairway with clever placement and maximizes the perceived space and the second is adorned with sublime golden fixtures with a kind of tribal theme.\"Sasha<\/a>
\nThe designer created a bold dining area with a marble table surrounded by vintage chairs reupholstered with Jean Paul Gaultier fabrics.<\/p>\n

\nThe look on the dining room is much more simple, with a subtle country feel to it. The white tones dominate this room and ample windows provide the necessary lighting to contrast with the brown tones.

For\u00a0Sasha Bikoff<\/strong>, an interior space evokes a particular lifestyle and gives the inhabitants the opportunity to transform their house into their own creative and eclectic oasis.\u00a0It is exactly what he achieved with this project.

The bedrooms are sleek, with neutral tones\u00a0and furniture that comes in pairs.
