Dimorestudio<\/strong> was chosen to design the charm of times gone by and bring a fresh style to the rooms in the H\u00f4tel Saint-Marc<\/span><\/em><\/strong>. In doing so, the spectacular architectural details were adapted to a concept that mixes vintage with original, bespoke creations<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Paris<\/a><\/strong> is a city that lives a balance between the past and the future that is palpable in its streets and buildings. The H\u00f4tel Saint-Marc<\/strong> is no exception, as it is located in a building dating back to 1791 that has undergone major social and architectural changes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the lobby, guests are greeted by a combination of white and black marble in the purest French tradition<\/a><\/strong>. Refined hues and furniture in sumptuous velvet<\/a><\/strong> create a warm feeling in the common areas. Some accessories and custom-made furniture<\/a> <\/strong>pieces were made to contrast with the classical architecture and the existing Art Deco elements<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The interior design studio<\/a><\/strong> has created 25 rooms in H\u00f4tel Saint-Marc<\/strong>, each of which is a private area where each visitor feels comfortable. They use 6 primary colors that alternate in each room<\/strong>, ranging from a mustard tone to a pine green.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The word Dimore in Italian means dwelling but conjures up images of old villas clinging to their aristocratic origins. It lends the name a sense of nostalgia. I think it\u2019s our DNA: we take a historical approach to a project to give it some roots, and then we inject it with more of a contemporary feel.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Founded in Milan in 2003 by Britt Moran<\/strong> and Emiliano Salci<\/strong>, Dimorestudio<\/strong> is a global architecture and design studio that creates residential, retail and hospitality projects<\/a><\/strong> as well as furnishings, textiles and lighting under the name Dimoremilano<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
