Saint-Germain-des-Pr\u00e8s is a charming neighborhood with a fascinating artistic and intellectual history. The interior designer<\/strong> <\/em>and furniture designer Reda Amalou<\/strong> opened the doors of his contemporary<\/strong> dreamy home in the French capital.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe wanted a Haussmanian apartment with a very French style since to date, we had lived only in modern spaces,\u201d he said. The high ceilings, the moldings, and the large classic<\/strong> windows are some of the traditional elements in this space of 160 square meters.<\/p>\n

To create a balance with classic\u00a0architecture<\/strong>, Reda Amalou wanted to reflect a more modern<\/strong>\u00a0narrative through interior design<\/strong>, reflecting his personality and that of his family. \u201cI always look for pure forms,\u201d he confessed. The white background fabric helps to highlight the true character of the space bathed in natural light. The white chair is by Charles and Ray\u00a0Eames\u00a0and\u00a0the bronze and marble table is by Reda Amalou Design.<\/p>\n

In the modern dining room<\/strong>, the hall and the corridor, works of art<\/strong> adorn the walls. Lithographs by Pierre Soulages, Robert Indiana, Keith Haring, Andy Warhol and Antoni T\u00e0pies -among others- bring color and dynamism to the department.<\/p>\n

Around the Reda Amalou Design table, the 367 Hello chairs designed by Hannes Wettstein are from Cassina. On the wall, numerous lithographs are discovered; the portrait of Kate Moss<\/strong> in the center is by Roman Moriceau. To complement the look, modern furniture piece<\/strong>s\u00a0were designed by Reda Amalou as the coffee table, the armchairs and the red stool in the room.<\/p>\n
