The Casaplata<\/strong> is a modern restaurant<\/strong><\/em> in Seville combines an industrial atmosphere with an artsy flair and a delicate design furniture<\/strong>. It\u2019s atmosphere, which transforms from day to night, could be the scene of a futuristic film<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

This project was commissioned\u00a0to the architecture<\/strong> and design studio<\/strong>, Lucas and Hern\u00e1ndez-Gil, for the interior design project they proposed an almost futuristic image, with raw materials that mix with everyday objects in an atmosphere that changes radically from day to night thanks to a studied lighting.<\/p>\n

Although it gave them total freedom, the client asked for \u201ca very flexible space that would work for food, cocktails, and events\u201d so they created four different environments with patio, window area, individual tables with pink velvet seats and a central space with a large Roundtable and bars for tapas and cocktails.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs for the raw materials, we use cement, metal and wood, but reworking the usual codes of industrial space.\u00a0<\/span>A combination of raw elements but at the same time delicate, in a balance of opposites, \u201cthey repeat.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
That philosophy can be seen perfectly in the pieces of modern furniture<\/strong>, colorful and perforated metal design and velvet contrast with the rough cement floor.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

The illumination is another of the strong points of the place and makes its image change almost completely from day to night, highlighting the materials and textures used.
\n<\/span>\u201cIt had good natural light but to have the flexibility to change the scenography we designed lamps that are adjustable in intensity and color.\u00a0<\/span>The luminosity is intentionally very different accompanying the music \u201c, they point out from the studio.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
