The leading architecture<\/strong><\/em> South African firm SAOTA has been developing the most modern residential projec<\/strong>t around the world, their\u00a0design\u00a0is quickly recognizable.
\nThis time they went across the ocean and designed another stunning project in Australia, Sydney, \u00a0where they have built a five-bedroom home for a young family.<\/p>\n

The SAOTA\u00a0<\/strong>team collaborated with the Australians TKD Architects and the interior designer<\/strong> Alexandra Kidd Design to create this three-level house built on sloping land. Downstairs is the garage and the pool. The office, a recreation room, a terrace and the kitchen. Finally, the upper floor is dedicated to rest.<\/p>\n

From the street, the house is discreet, but from the pool\u00a0side, you will discover its sculptural fa\u00e7ade. Concrete and sandstone, \u00a0the natural material from the area were used in the contemporary design<\/strong> of this project.<\/p>\n

The interior design project<\/strong> by Alexandra Kidd consisted of softening the interior spaces of this rude and industrial structure. \u201cThe concrete is the hero of the project but for the result does not seem cold, we added textures. We play with the contrasts between the raw elements of architecture and the luxurious finishes<\/strong>, juxtaposing this material with brass, wood, stone, leather, and linen, \u201cexplains Kidd.<\/p>\n

The entrance is a surprising moment, where the guests enter through a wooden door and then pass through a bridge that crosses the garden. Inside the double height\u00a0striking contemporary entryway<\/strong> a unique view of Sydney.<\/p>\n

The modern living room<\/strong> provides more privacy for the family,\u00a0it faces the garden, which strengthens the feeling of being surrounded by nature. The electric blue was the color used for\u00a0the all home decor<\/strong> gives a glamorous touch and contemporary<\/strong> look.<\/p>\n
