The Art<\/strong> duo the Haas Brothers<\/a>\u2018 first retrospective\u00a0exhibition\u00a0has opened at The Bass Museum in Miami Beach, filled with their \u201cfantasy reality of flora and fauna\u201d in a spectrum of hues.\u00a0Twins\u00a0Nikolai and Simon Haas\u00a0have taken over two rooms on the ground floor of the\u00a0recently renovated Bass Museum of Art, showcasing a progression of their furniture and sculpture \u2013 from early works to pieces created specifically for the show.<\/p>\n

\"The<\/a><\/p>\n

Brazilian designers\u00a0<\/strong>Humberto and Fernando Campana\u00a0<\/a>have designed limited-edition versions of their signature soft-toy seats using designs by American artist\u00a0Kaws.<\/a>
\n<\/span>They revealed at\u00a0Design Miami\u00a0fair by New York gallery\u00a0Friedman Benda,<\/a> the Kaws x Campana collaboration includes two armchairs and a sofa with seats and backs made from soft toys.<\/p>\n

\"The<\/a><\/p>\n

Louis Vuitton<\/strong> expanded its \u201cobjets nomades\u201d collection with three new pieces:\u00a0atelier Biagetti\u2019s anemona table,\u00a0atelier oi\u0308\u2019s serpentine table, and\u00a0Tokujin Yoshioka\u2019s blossom vase.\u00a0presented alongside a selection of existing objects during\u00a0design Miami\/ 2018, the three new creations have joined pieces by international designers including\u00a0the Campana Brothers,\u00a0Barber & Osgerby,\u00a0India Mahdavi, Patricia Urquiola, and\u00a0Andr\u00e9 Fu.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis Is Not America\u201d a spectacular assembly of performance and public art is free at Faena Hotel<\/strong> to the public by\u00a0Derrick Adam.<\/p>\n

Claudia Wieser<\/strong>\u00a0was one of the most relevant artists in the\u00a0Sies + H\u00f6ke<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s showcase with her colorful and\u00a0minimalist<\/strong>\u00a0Untitled art pieces created in 2018. Her sculptures are perfect examples of how art and design can be merged together to create something beautiful and functional at the same time.<\/p>\n

In the same booth, we also can\u2019t ignore the realistic\u00a0bronze sculpture<\/strong>\u00a0of a cat by\u00a0Jo\u00e3o Maria Gusm\u00e3o<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Pedro Paiva<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\nThe designer\u00a0Misha Kah<\/strong> presented a playful signature style has manifested as a collection of items for use around the pool at the Miami Beach Edition hotel<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Contrasting with Claire\u2019s artworks we have\u00a0Barbara Chase-Riboud<\/strong>\u00a0evoking wealth and\u00a0luxury<\/strong>\u00a0with her\u00a0exclusive design<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The playful sculpture by\u00a0Daniel Arsham<\/strong>\u00a0from\u00a0Perrotin<\/strong><\/a>, tearing apart the well-known \u201cThe End\u201d message that appears in several movies and TV shows gave us a reason to smile.<\/p>\n
