When Texas-based designer Lucinda Loya<\/strong><\/a> set out to transform a cold, corporate London apartment<\/em><\/strong><\/span> for rising model Maya Henry, there was one thing that sold her on the project: A pair of blush fringe chairs.<\/p>\n

Since Loya was given only one month to complete the entire project, the designer placed the emphasis on adding color and personality to space, as opposed to starting from scratch. Having previously worked with Henry\u2019s family in Texas as well as in New York, Loya had a strong foundation when looking for complete creative freedom.<\/p>\n

This chic two-bedroom London apartment<\/strong><\/em> is the home for up-and-coming model Maya Henry<\/strong>. Loya wanted to take a young, fresh, feminine approach to outfit this flat as a stylish home<\/strong><\/a> for the young model. The upstairs study was transformed into a closet<\/strong><\/a> to accommodate this young fashionista\u2019s growing wardrobe and accessories.<\/p>\n

The designer always begins each project by paying attention to the classic lines and then she can infuse the space with femininity and a stylish edge. Her goal was to provide a fun, bold design<\/a><\/strong> for a career woman.<\/p>\n

Most of the art<\/strong> was chosen from\u00a0Henry\u2019s family\u2019s private art collection<\/strong>.<\/a> The design firm selected items that would complement the design and had them transported to the London apartment<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n
