We sat down with Boca do Lobo Design team behind this modern project \u2013 Boca do Lobo Design Studio \u2013 to find out more of it entailed<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Paris, the city of lights and the home of iconic design is nestled a luxurious and eclectic\u00a01450 square feet apartment<\/strong>, by Boca do Lobo Design Studio<\/span><\/em><\/strong>. An apartment fit for the most creative minds, this project is one of the many homes of a prolific architect, who also dabbles in the art dealing world. We sat down with the design team behind this\u00a0modern project<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013\u00a0Boca do Lobo Design Studio<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 to find out more of what it entailed. The client was looking for \u201ca place where classic and contemporary come together<\/em>\u201d says the studio. A\u00a0multimillion-dollar penthouse<\/strong>\u00a0that reflects the owner\u2019s love for\u00a0collectable design<\/strong>\u00a0and the client\u2019s needs to have a\u00a0functional space<\/strong>\u00a0for work and to be inspired at the same time.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe client\u2019s first contact with the brand was in Paris, in our showroom\u201d\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\nrecall the Boca do Lobo representatives<\/cite>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

To fulfil his professional needs, the client reached out to Boca do Lobo Design Studio<\/em><\/strong>, to create the perfect balanced home. \u201cThe client\u2019s first contact with the brand was in Paris, in our showroom<\/em>\u201d recall the Boca do Lobo<\/strong> representatives, \u201cwhere the pieces captivated his attention<\/em>\u201c. Lately, when he was sure the project was going to happen, \u201cthe client joined us in Portugal and went to our design studio, showroom and production<\/em>\u201d. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Exclusivity and quality were two of the most important requirements and Boca do Lobo<\/strong>\u2018s pieces fulfilled all the needs. \u201cAfter one meeting we decided that the apartment should be artistic and luxurious, but also functional. A space to work, but also to leisure<\/em>\u201d, a place where even in the comfort of his home when brilliance strikes, no time is wasted in putting pen to paper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As\u00a0Boca do Lobo<\/strong>\u00a0has always had a strong bond with the French capital, becoming the furniture brand\u2019s centre stage for its most ambitious design to date, was an obvious choice. Boca do Lobo Design Studio<\/em><\/strong> was about to create\u00a0one of the most luxurious apartments in the heart of Paris<\/strong><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The team knew exactly where to start, \u201cWe knew that white was the key colour of the interior design project giving us the perfect starting point to work in different contemporary design concepts<\/em>\u201d. A neutral and clean background where everything fits perfectly in harmony. From gold surfaces<\/strong> that express luxury, to carefully hand-painted tiles<\/strong>, and the final touches of marble<\/strong>, every detail was carefully thought out. Embracing the elegant details of classic architecture<\/strong>, this apartment features white French wall mouldings, highlighting the classical style of the French windows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Influenced by the city\u2019s renaissance period, the art worthy designs<\/strong> and sculptures enhance the decor bringing to life the richness of the history of those before us.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe apartment has an open space concept that combines all the rooms through one unique style, yet the functional needs and the high-tech amenities separate each area.\u201d\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\nBoca do Lobo Design Studio<\/cite>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

The\u00a0one-bedroom luxury apartment<\/strong>\u00a0was fully designed by the teaming collaboration with the architect and owner of the apartment. \u201cThe master bedroom, the tailored closet and the bespoke kitchen were the main challenges in this exclusive interior design project. The fully functional office was also one of the architect\u2019s imperative requests.<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n \"L\u00c2\u00b4Chandelier<\/a>\n\n\n\n

Entrance gallery<\/a><\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAs the client receives many different people in his home, from business meetings to socializing activities, the entrance is crucial\u201d.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\nBoca do Lobo Design Studio<\/cite>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

In interior design, the entryway is the home\u2019s greeting card and what welcomes those who visit it. Contrasting in the colours but converging in the aesthetic and boldness of the pieces, the\u00a0Entry Gallery\u00a0<\/strong>shows that details are everything.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Covering the entire entryway, on both sides, the iconic and exclusive Heritage Sideboard brings colour to an almost monochromatic environment. On the end of this large entrance is featured the modern Pietra round table, carved with mastery in white marble, the key element of this space matching the\u00a0typical french floors<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n \"Cabinets<\/a>\n\n\n\n

Living Room<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

In a wide and bright concept, the\u00a0living room<\/strong>\u00a0is one of the main areas in this apartment and the design team worked to build a space \u201csurrounded by art and romantic sculptures that call back to Ancient Greece to combine classic and contemporary, in an artistic symbiosis<\/em>\u201d.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the centre of the living room lays a new version of the iconic Imperfectio Sofa \u201cthis time in a\u00a0chaise long.\u00a0This design piece shows that a beautiful and artsy piece can both be aesthetically pleasing, and a comfortable place to rest<\/em>\u201d. Surrounded by the sofa, the magnificent centre table is a product of the Boca do Lobo\u2019s\u00a0Bespoke Service<\/strong>. This design became part of\u00a02021 novelties debuts<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The aesthetic of the space is defined by the combination of its\u00a0colours, shapes and materials<\/strong>. The cream tones in the textiles of the upholsteries, the gold of the brass and the earth tones of the marble bring the perfect balance and harmony to the room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n \"Imperfectio<\/a>\n\n\n\n

Dining Area<\/a><\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

\u201cFollowing the open-concept lines of the decor, the living room transitions into the dining room, maintaining the same characteristics and aesthetic\u201d<\/em><\/p>\nBoca do Lobo Design Studio<\/cite>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Every piece is unique, exclusive coexisting as a masterpiece both individually and together.\u00a0The\u00a0different finishes<\/strong>\u00a0are one of the features that contribute to the coherence of this interior design project, with statement pieces and timeless hues. In the\u00a0dining room<\/strong>, the designers\u00a0mixed neutral tones<\/strong>, with black and dark brown wood surfaces contrasting with the exquisiteness of gold brass. \u201cBut what truly elevates this ambience are the pieces that make this project a living art-gallery<\/em>\u201d explains the team, comprehensive furniture that could easily be considered an iconic collectable design piece \u201csuch as the imposing Empire Dining Table<\/em>\u201d taking centre stage with the Glance mirror<\/strong> and the N\u00ba11 Chair<\/strong> complementing this beautiful and perfectly designed area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Transitioning into the\u00a0kitchen area<\/strong>, this project debuts new pieces but also new spaces where Boca do Lobo<\/strong> can be present.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cEverything in this apartment is unconventional sharing the space with the dining room, the kitchen is open and perfectly embraces the aesthetic of the apartment\u201d<\/em><\/p>\nBoca do Lobo Design Team<\/cite>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

The main piece is the\u00a0dark marble Kitchen Island<\/strong>, another incredible bespoke product of Boca do Lobo<\/strong>, with the perfect amount of gold touch and the minimalistic design, to match the dining and living room<\/strong>. This bespoke piece<\/strong> was designed to break the space and to gather all the ambiences at the same time. Mixing dark tones and illuminated by the gold present in the whole project, this area is not only functional but also luxurious.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n \"Dining<\/a>\n\n\n\n

Master Suite<\/a><\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The Designer\u2019s Team referred that \u201cThe\u00a0Master Bedroom<\/strong>\u00a0was mainly inspired by the\u00a0art pieces<\/strong>\u00a0that the client brings from all the corners of the world, like the vintage black mirror and the rug<\/em>\u201d, but the centre stage it\u2019s the\u00a0king-size bed<\/strong>. The bed is framed with the handmade Lapiaz Headboard<\/strong>, from Boca do Lobo 2020 Collection<\/strong>. This\u00a0imposing design<\/strong>\u00a0piece is inspired by the french word for \u2018stone\u2019 that when frizzed, cracks into an unexpected stunning interior revealing all the inside details.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alongside the rest area, the team conceived a space to rest with two armchairs and the beautiful D. Dinis Fragmented Mirror<\/strong> maximizing the space even more. Now joining Imperfectio family, of the Brand, is a\u00a0product design\u00a0<\/strong>for the owner\u2019s best friend, the\u00a0Imperfectio Pet Bed<\/strong>. \u201cA special require from the client that we accepted a challenge to enter into the pet luxury products<\/em>\u201d. A comfortable pet-essential piece, particularly resistant to water and scratches.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"House<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The\u00a0master wardrobe<\/strong>\u00a0design has a central lounge area with two statement armchairs, covered in brass, giving the space an\u00a0authentic<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0luxury style<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cGlass doors show the Designer clothes collection and give the closet a feeling of bright and open space.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\nBoca do Lobo Design Studio<\/cite>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Fulfilling this\u00a0elegant room<\/strong>, the neutral and patterned rug from the brand\u00a0Rug Society<\/strong>, a partner in this project, works well in the\u00a0interior design geometry\u00a0<\/strong>and helps to bring warmth into the\u00a0luxury closet needs.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"House<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The time everyone spends in the bathroom is precious. This concept was the owner\u2019s moto to build an entire\u00a0efficient bathroom<\/strong>\u00a0that looks like a\u00a0private spa<\/strong>. With a green wall to set the mood and a\u00a0bespoke bathtub<\/strong>\u00a0by\u00a0Boca do Lobo<\/strong>, with artistic handmade tiles, this space was perfectly designed to inspire and calm the mind. Not forgetting the sauna area that warms the space covered\u00a0in luxury marble walls<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0floor<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n \"Supernova<\/a>\n\n\n\n

The Office<\/a><\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The reflection of personal style, passions, and aspirations of the private client is the motto for this\u00a0working space<\/strong>. Leading into the creative room, the\u00a0hallway<\/strong>\u00a0maintains the same art gallery-like aesthetic as the entrance of the house \u201cyet breaking the informality of it with the stunning and imposing Millionaire luxury safes with the strong and\u00a0formal design<\/strong><\/em>\u201d, adds Boca do Lobo Design Studio<\/strong>. The Hera Suspension Lamp<\/strong> illuminates the entry of this room, and the marble floor reflects the brightness needed to balance this\u00a0business\u00a0<\/strong>yet\u00a0inspiring environment<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Entering the room where work comes to life, the Design Studio created\u00a0two distinctive areas<\/strong>\u00a0according to the necessities of the client.\u00a0Lounge space<\/strong>\u00a0with an\u00a0eclectic style<\/strong>\u00a0to welcome the guests into a creative talk with the Soleil Sofa<\/strong> and Armchair<\/strong> and the out-of-box Savana Rug by the Partner Brand Rug Society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSince this penthouse is the home of an architect, the Designers conceived this area as the\u00a0<\/em>main working place<\/em><\/strong>\u201d<\/em><\/p>\nBoca do Lobo Design Studio<\/cite>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

The new Garrett Bookcase<\/strong> covers the side walls to provide the\u00a0maximum storage<\/strong>\u00a0keeping knowledge on display and bring into this space more character and formality. The centre stage of the\u00a0office<\/strong>\u00a0is the Empire Desk<\/strong>. This imposing surface is a one-of-a-kind\u00a0design aesthetic<\/strong>\u00a0and refined statement that it\u2019s illuminated by the French windows conceiving a perfect place to work.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
