Located in Al-Khor, this 60-000 capacity Qatar football stadium<\/span><\/strong> is set to host the opening match of the FIFA Soccer World Cup<\/span> 2022<\/strong>. Its giant tent structure covers the whole stadium and is inspired by traditional tents of nomadic peoples from the Gulf region. The upper tier of the modular design seating is portable, allowing it to be removed after the competition, and given to developing nations in need of sports infrastructure.
