The 16th edition of NOMAD <\/span><\/em>Abu Dhabi<\/strong> transformed the decommissioned Terminal 1 of Zayed International Airport<\/strong> into a stunning stage for collectible design<\/a><\/strong>, contemporary art<\/strong>,<\/a> and innovative architecture<\/strong>. Held from 19 to 22 November 2025<\/strong>, the fair showcased a dynamic dialogue between design<\/a><\/strong>, culture, and modernist architecture, attracting collectors, artists, and enthusiasts from across the globe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Designed by Paul Andreu<\/strong><\/strong><\/a>, <\/strong>Terminal 1 \u2014 a modernist Gulf landmark inaugurated in 1982<\/strong> \u2014 provided a breathtaking backdrop, while an outdoor installation at Jumeirah Saadiyat Island Resort<\/strong> celebrated regional artists, creating a seamless connection between heritage and contemporary creativity.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Iranian artist Roham Shamekh<\/strong> presented sculptural seating reflecting human experience, complemented by works from Aline Hazarian<\/strong> and other emerging talents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The luxury brand Bottega Veneta<\/strong> showcased eight designers from North Africa and the Middle East<\/a><\/strong>, each interpreting the iconic Intrecciato leather-weaving technique<\/strong>. The installation demonstrated the seamless fusion of tradition and contemporary creativity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
